The Attorney General’s Office is the principal legal department of the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis, constitutionally mandated to advise Government, draft and vet legislation, represent the State, conduct authorised prosecutions, and ensure legal and constitutional compliance. The Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs is the principal administrative body for the administration of justice and government legal services, with statutory responsibility for defined legal, judicial, prosecutorial, registry, and governance- related functions of the State.
